Hello on this first day of this new year!
First, I wish all the best for you. Second, I cannot believe that 2020 is finally finished. I hope that this year will be better (and for once I mean it :))
I would like to thanks everyone who came to this blog, follow, like or comment on my post this previous year. We are starting a new year, and I wanted to share my perspectives for the coming year, for this blog, and Instagram and my reads.
My reads:
- Once every two months, I would like to read an ARC from NetGalley and takes time to read it (and not postponing as I have done in 2020)
- Read more classics, especially the “to read at least once in a lifetime” (if you have any that I should read don’t hesitate to tell me in the comments)
- Read more non-fiction, in particularly memoirs. I read a few in 2020, and I enjoy it a lot. I have a few on my unread shelf, so I am ready to take this habit.
- DNF more the book that I don’t like and don’t feel guilty. Too many books, too little time!
- If I don’t feel reading a day, don’t feel guilty too.
This blog:
- I will now post on Tuesdays and Fridays
- I would like to create some “reading sessions”: I am filming myself while reading and making a timelapse of it.
- I would like to change the format of the monthly wrap up posts.
- Make more diversified contents about books, like the book I want to pre-order, etc.
My Instagram (@of_books_and_museums):
- Make more contents and not only my reviews.
That’s the directions that I want to take for the bookish part of my life.
Again, I wish you a Happy New Year and see you on the next post with my Olympus TBR on Sunday!
See you,
Liz.
