Note #5 : I’m finally back

Hello bookish lovers,

I’m back after a long time without reading or reviews or at least news. In two months, a ton happened in my life, and I needed to take a step back to understand how to mix my personal and professional life and include reading (an important part of my life).

During those two months, my mom decided to repaint the entire apartment, meaning I needed to live at my father’s one with my two cats, which means that I didn’t have my whole bookshelves, which was hard for me as I was desperate to read, but I didn’t have my usual choice. I bought some books, but I didn’t want to read them after buying them.

During that time, I also couldn’t focus on anything. I was only watching shows or listening to music during that time. The fact that since February, I’ve been working a new job after four years of unemployment makes it hard to concentrate after a working day. Those two things gave me a level of frustration that it was hard for me to watch my usual bookish content on Youtube, and I missed many readathons, sprints, vlogs, and everything else I watched there.

Now that I am back at reading, I’m happy to share my thoughts on the books I will read with you again. I had a ton of projects for this year, but I want to concentrate on reviews and be as productive as last year before adding more content. From time to time, I will do it, but only if I’m feeling it.

For now, I’m happy as I like my job, my colleague and everything is improving in my personal life. I’m also glad that you were there to read my old post and follow this blog even if I wasn’t posting anything. I was surprised by that fact, but when I was feeling blue, I could look at my stats and see that I helped a lot. So,thanks to you!

Here is a little recap of my reading life :

The books I finished : The City of Ghosts by Victoria Schwab and Lore Olympus : Volume Four by Rachel Smythe

The book I’m currently reading : The Shadow Cabinet by Juno Dawson

My next travel : London, England

That post comes to an end, and again, thank you. I hope that it’s a new start for this blog and that I won’t be blocked anymore, as I don’t want to live this level of frustration again.

See you soon,
