August was a fantastic month. I read a ton every day, even if it’s one chapter. I hope it will continue like that for September, so I decided to continue with five rolls. I’m sure I can read that many books, and I will also prioritise mood reading. Those prompts and books are only a guideline. Especially for September, as I’m participating in one readathon.
This readathon is Bookoplathon created by Becca and the Books (her channel). It’s the second year I’m participating in this month-long readathon, and as I liked how I played it last year, I will play it like that again this year.
Let’s start with my Olympus TBR!
OLYMPUS TBR
Prompts for September

The rolls

Roll 1 (3)
God: Poseidon
Prompt: Read a book set on sea or seashore
Pick: The Bookshop on the Shore by Jenny Colgan (publisher: Sphere)
Why: I couldn’t find a better book for this prompt. The fact that it’s set on the shore is repeatedly told first in the title and then in the synopsis.
Roll 2 (4)
Goddess: Hestia
Prompt: Read a standalone
Pick: GirlCrush by Florence Given (publisher: Brazen)
Why: It’s one of my most anticipated books of the year, and as I have the stunning Waterstones signed edition, I couldn’t wait to put it in my TBR. I was crossing my fingers to have a prompt that could fit this book.

Roll 3 (18)
Half-God
Prompt: Read a book from the title pot
Pick: Take Me Home Tonight by Morgan Matson (publisher: Simon & Schuster Books for Young Readers)
Why: It’s a long time since I read a YA, so I’m up for it.
Roll 4 (3)
God: Poseidon
Prompt: Read a book with a myth
Pick: The Wicked + The Divine: Fandemonium by Kieron Gillen (publisher: Image Comics)
Why: This book is the second book in this series. Here you have many mythology representations as people reincarnate as gods from different mythologies every fifty years (and live for only two years.)

Roll 5 (7)
God: Ares
Prompt: Read a mystery
Pick: The Paris Apartment by Lucy Foley (publisher: HarperCollins Publisher)
Why: I hesitated a lot with another book. But in the end, I was too hurried to read the other one (which I started right after making this TBR), so here we go with this mystery book.
Those are the five books I will read for September, equaling the small amount of 1,755 pages. However, I will be participating in one readathon. And I will use one of my books for the first prompt.
READATHON
Like last year, I will participate in the month-long edition of the Bookoplathon. Also, I will play it the same way as last year, which means I need to finish the book corresponding to the prompt to roll again. If I do a double, I must complete both books before rolling again.
Announcement video here
For my first roll, I had a five and a four, which made me fall on building. So for this prompt, I will read Take Me Home Tonight by Morgan Matson. On the cover of my edition, you have buildings (even if they are blurry); on the paperback edition, you can see buildings very clearly.

This book won’t add any pages as it’s also in my September Olympus TBR, but I don’t know for the following rolls. I may entirely change my TBR as I don’t know which prompt I will fall on, so I don’t know the books. I just hope to not have a ton of double. That would be a good thing.
Don’t hesitate to share the books that you want to read this month or give your thoughts about these books if you have already read them.
Liz.
