March Olympus TBR

For March, we are back with five rolls! When I rolled the dice, I was livid of the prompt I had, like in my head it was what could I choose for this month with these prompts and when I started to choose my books, I began to breathe again as they were easy to select. So let me tell you I can’t wait to start March.

In March, I also have the continuation of the Orilium readathon. This time we choose our conduit and legacy; each of those has a prompt following our choice.

Let’s go for the prompts!

Prompts for March

The rolls

Roll 1 (3)

God: Poseidon

Prompt: Read a book set on an island

Pick: No Words by Meg Cabot (publisher: Piatkus)

Why: I wanted to read this book in spring, but I can’t find a better book than this one to fit this prompt, so here we go.

Roll 2 (13)

Goddess: Demeter

Prompt: Read an oldest purchase

Pick: 4:50 from Paddington by Agatha Christie (publisher: HarperCollins)

Why: From all my oldest purchases, I wanted to read this one. It’s a long time since I read Agatha Christie, and as I start to have a lot of them in my unread bookshelves, I need to read them more.

Roll 3 (19/2)

Ambrosia/Goddess: Hera

Prompt: Read a fairytale

Pick: The Princess Saves Herself in this One by Amanda Loveless (publisher: Andrew McMeel Publishing)

Why: The title says all! It’s maybe not a traditional fairytale, but I consider it one.

Readathon Orilium gear up (14th-20th): I choose this book for the prompt of Spellbook, which is to read a book with two “S” in the title. In this title, you have six “S” I think it’s okay.

Roll 4 (11)

God: Hermes

Prompt: Steal a book from somone’s TBR

Pick: Gallant by V.E. Schwab (publisher: Titan Books)

Why: As I published this post before most of the TBR are uploaded on Youtube, I’m going for an obvious choice as it’s a new release from a well-known author. I think at least one booktuber will read it in March.

Roll 5 (10)

Goddess: Artemis

Prompt: Read a book with a “A” and a “D” in the title

Pick: From Blood and Ash by Jennifer L. Armentrout (publisher: Blue Box Press)

Why: Okay, I’m now desperate to read this super hyped book. It was first published in 2020, and I wait for 2021 to buy it now, a year after I’m going to read it.

Readathon Orilium Gear Up (14th – 20th): I choose Ausra and I have the prompt first book in a series. So yeah I will start a new series.

Those are the five books that I will read for March, which equal the small amount of 1,697 pages. I hope to have a better month than February because I hated it. I hope the readathon will help me, but I also need to read one more book, which needs to be dark academia, to totally achieve it. I will see which one I will choose for it.

Don’t hesitate to share the books that you want to read this month or give your thoughts about these books if you have already read them.

Liz.
