2021 Summary

Hello bookish people,

Okay, I’m a little late for that, but we are still at the beginning of January, so I will post it. Here is my 2021 wrap up. Let’s go!

STATS

In 2021, I read 105 books, including 3 DNFs. That’s a lot but still less than 2020, where I read 111 books.

Those 105 books represent a total of 33,145 pages that I read in 526h. I read an average of 90 pages per day and have an average reading speed of 64.2 pages per hour. Therefore, it took me an average of 3.50 days to finish a book, and I gave an average rating of 3.44 out of 5.

Here are some charts that will show how and what I read the most this year:

I read the most in May, then in January and March, but otherwise, I read around the same number of books.
I read the most in March and the least in December, and it’s funny as the more you go, the less I read.

It’s strange as I was sure to have read more Young Adult than Adult, but why not.
Same as before, sure I was reading more standalone, but not it’s even between series and standalone.
So I primely read books between 350 and 400 pages, then 300 – 350 and lastly, 400-450 and 250-300 that is approximately the same.

THE BOOKS

Here is a video with all the books I read this year (including DNFs) with some information. They are classified by months.

FAVOURITE BOOKS

Those are my favourite books of 2021; I didn’t give ranks to them are they are all different, and I liked them all. Those are also my 2021 five stars ratings; they are a lot less than last year as I wanted to be pickier with them. They are 8 of them:

WORSE BOOKS

In here, I put all the DNFs and all the books under three stars rating. They aren’t a lot but still there. So first, you have the four two stars rating, then the one-star rating and finally the DNFs:

That’s all for the 2021 wrap up; I hope you liked it. If so, let me know in the comment and tell me how you did in 2021!

See you soon,

Liz.
