Review
I’m in my short book period, so what’s better than a companion book about a verse that I like.
This book is a collection of short stories about the Saints that shape the world of the grishaverse. This book was published near the release of the Netflix show, as the main character, Alina is carrying it in the TV show.
I liked to read it, I’m a sucker for myths and legends, and it can be from our world or a fictional one; I don’t really care. I liked the construction of the book; it’s a lot of short stories, five pages maximum, and you have Saints that you don’t know and Saints you know, but for those, their stories are told differently, as you have the whole story in the differents tomes of the series.
Also, before a story starts, you have a drawing of the Saint, and let me tell you, Daniel J. Zollinger has done a great job.
Overall, it’s a great companion book, but it’s not mandatory to read to understand the main series of the grishaverse.
Liz.
