December Olympus TBR: 1st roll

So this is the last month of the year, and I can’t believe it. To finish the year, I want to have a chill month because I don’t know how I will spend my Christmas and new year. So I may not have any time to read, and I don’t want to pressure myself to tackle a TBR.

So for this month, I will simply play my game as I go. You will only have the first prompt in this post, and then as I finish my books, I will roll the dice again. I will make a short post to announce the prompts.

1st Roll for December

I didn’t use my bonus card for this first Olympus TBR roll, so I still have the card to re-roll the dice.

For my first book, I fall on 11, which means that it is Hermes, and my prompt is to read a book that I steal from someone else’s TBR. When I was playing my game, all the booktuber started to publish their TBR, so I chose the Midnight in Everwood by M.A. Kuzniar that I stole from megwithbook (her channel here) and her TBR Cluedo.

This book is a retelling of the Nutcracker, which means winter and Christmas vibes, so I’m so pumped for it. I was happy when she chose this one for a prompt, or at least her Patreon picked the book for this prompt. I can’t wait to start this book and dive into the retelling of one of my favourite Christmas stories and ballet.

Don’t hesitate to share the books that you want to read this month or give your thoughts about the books if you have already read it.

Liz.
