Hello bookish people,
This week was also a great one. I finished one short book and started and finished another one. It seriously helps not to read when I don’t want to. Also, I continued one of the cross-stitching patterns that I DNFed a long time ago.
MY WEEK
Monday 06th: I went to Starbucks to write the review of Small Favors. I wanted to say so much that it took me a lot more time than I’m used to. I didn’t do a lot that day as I was stuck in the public transport problems. Like each Monday, there was reading sprints on Wandering Through Worlds Youtube Channel in the evening. I always use those to read plenty of my books. However, as I was late (thanks to the public transport), I could only read 54 pages.
Tuesday 07th: I wrote my first week of these readathons. I also took photos for my next review post on Instagram and for the post. After that, I discovered one of my favourite books last year was translated into French, so I needed to buy it. Now I have 3 different editions of this book. Also, I finally received the book: The Thousand Doors of January by Alix E. Harrow. I ordered it first in July, but I don’t know why it went back to the sender, so I needed to re-order it. I also had an appointment for my nail; they were purple, and I chose pink, and I freaking love the colour. My program for reading was to finish the last part of my book and start my new book during Becca and the Books’ reading sprints live. Sadly, I couldn’t do it. I finished my book but couldn’t begin with the new one. I was too exhausted for it, so I just watched the live without doing anything. I read a total of 90 pages, and for the roll, I fell on Buzzword: Time of the day.
Wednesday 08th: I worked on some articles for my blog, including this one, and I started this month’s third book. As I wanted to do some cross-stitching, I used the audiobook and the way the narrator speak is so slow, so I can even put it at 1.5 speed. As I have the book, I can follow it from time to time, so for this first day, I read 79 pages.
Thursday 09th:I didn’t do a lot as I had an appointment that took me two hours, and then I ran errands. So I didn’t do the review I needed to do for the next day. Then I went to the bar to have a drink, and when I came home, instead of reading, I watched some episodes of Say Yes to the Dress, Lancashire and some vlogs on Youtube. It was 10:30ish PM when I finally decided to read or listen to the audiobook while doing some cross-stitching. I read 80 pages.
Friday 10th: I have doneI did the review for Under the Whispering Door by TJ Klune (the review) while I listened to the new Ed Sheeran’s song Shivers. Then I needed to do some errands for my cat as his food delivery was delayed until the following Monday. I only have one for today, and that’s all. I wasn’t in the mood to read, so I didn’t.
Saturday 11th: I worked on the Sunday Post all day as I forgot to do it the day before; happily, it’s an easy one to do. I also do some pictures: two for the article and one for Instagram. I discovered that I didn’t do the one for Under the Whispering Door by TJ Klune. I also read a lot and read 102 pages.
Sunday 12th: I read all day to finish my third book of the month, which means I read 140 pages. At the same time, I completed one building on my cross-stitching. Then, I roll the dice and fall on the POC rep space. Then, I begin to prepare the article corresponding to the book for this throw.
THE BOOKS

This Is How You Lose the Time War by Amal El-Mohtar & Max Gladstone (review): I finished this book on Tuesday 07th. This was the second book of the month. It corresponded to Becca Rec for the Bookoplathon and the Mist of Solitude for the Magical Readathon – Orilium.
The Dark Prophecy by Rick Riordan: This is the third book that I finished on the 12th of September. This one corresponds to Buzzword: time of day in the title for the Bookoplathon. It also corresponds to the Ruin of Skye for the Magical Readathon as you have a ghost (Agamethus) which I didn’t know at the beginning.
That’s all the second week of September, you need to wait next week to know which book I choose on Sunday. Of course, you can also find the answer on my Twitter (@alizee_books) but shush π€«!
See you the same day, next week, for the third week of those readathons. I hope that next week will continue like that!!
Bye, bye,
Liz.
