What’s new on my shelves? #3 (July 2021)

Hey bookish people,

I didn’t purchase a lot of books in July. I had other priorities, but I still bought nine books, and half of them are already read or in my TBR for August. One of them was a last-minute purchased, but it is a problem with the series. So let’s go to discover the new books on my shelves.

HISTORICAL

Songs in Ursa Major by Emma Brodie

Synopsis: Following the accident of a famous singer (Jesse), Jane replaces him during a festival. Staying on the island for recovery, Jesse helps Jane to produce her first album. But after becoming a couple and facing sexism in the industry, she asks herself the question that many women in this industry ask what we are willing to sacrifice for our dreams?

Here we are! Next month it’s my birthday, so I’m sure to have more books on my shelves. I can’t wait to read those, especially that some of them scream summer.

What did you buy in July? Did you know or read any books in my book haul? If yes, don’t hesitate to comment.

See you soon,

Liz.
