Review
It’s a Hercule Poirot story, so I like it a lot, but it’s not my favourite compared to the other investigations.
First, I watched this episode a hundred times, so it was a little difficult to concentrate on the story; it’s a good thing that I know it by heart. My brain was comparing both mediums continuously while I was reading, which is distracting.
Second, I think it’s a good book to start with as you discover the recurrent characters you will find throughout the series. Then, you understand how they know each other and their relationships.
Lastly, you have an explanation of how Poirot is working. I like that it’s not explained by him but by someone who knows him and his manners.
Liz.
