my reading summary: March 2021

For March, I read a lot but not all the books I should have read. Yeah! For the first time, I failed my TBR game. This fail is a deliberate decision as I wasn’t in the mood to read two of the books. I genuinely try to read them; I just couldn’t, so they went back to my unread shelf, and I will try another time. So except that I read a total of 10 books, thanks to the Bookoplathon (my post about it here).

To compensate for the fact that I didn’t read all of my “compulsory” books, I will add 2 rolls to my April Olympus TBR.

Here some stats:

I am proud to have added poetry as it’s not a genre that I tend to read.
The average rating for this month is 3.87 out of 5 stars.

I still didn’t have any bonus card, even if I had a monster card, as I didn’t read the book corresponding to the card.

Here is the book I read during March with their prompts (if there is one). If you want to read a book’s review, you just need to click on the (x).

OLYMPUS TBR

(x) The Lost Hero by Rick Riordan (published by Puffin)

For once, it was a Zeus card, and it was to read a book with meteorological element on the cover/in the title.

(x) The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas (published by Balzer+Bray)

It’s a Dionysus card, and it was to read a book made into a movie, a play or TV series. This book was adapted into a film in 2018.

This book is for an Ares card, and it was to read historical fiction sets during WWI and/or WWII.

This book corresponds to an Artemis card: read a book with an arrow on the cover.

TROPE-ICAL READATHON

(x) Much Ado About You by Samantha Young (published by Berkley)

This book wasn’t an Olympus TBR book; I read this book to answer my team’s prompt in the Trope-ical readathon.

This was the team book for the Trope-ical readathon.
