Review

First, I didn’t realise that the edition I have isn’t only the first book of the series but gather the whole series (from book 1 to book 6.)

The thing that attracts me the most is the drawings, first on the cover, but also through all the book. Everything is stunning, the colour palette, the characters, the settings.

For the plot, I was totally hooked by it. Nina’s feelings are not only visible (with the drawings) but also with the writing. I was sometimes lost between reality and imagination. It’s one of the best feelings as it makes everything more real. All of the plot’s evolutions is surprising.

The only struggle I had was the romance side of the story. Indeed, I didn’t believe in it at all.

I cannot wait to have the next part of the series.

Liz.
