For this month’s recommendations, I choose two adult fictions. The list is short, but I wasn’t astounded by my read of last month.

The Dictionary of Lost Words by Pip Williams
What? #timeless #dictonary #love #life #words
Why? This book was as heartbreaking as heartwarming. I would say to read this book just for the main character: Esme, but don’t forget the other characters they are the best. It’s a book which should be more talked about.
Who? For people who love life and words.
Transcendent Kingdom by Yaa Gyasi
What? #womenscientist #mentalhealth #belief #memoirslike
Why? I was, at some point, questioning if the main character was real or not. Also, the author’s writing is fantastic.
Who? For people who are sometimes lost.
