Summary

First, there were ten a curious assortment of strangers summoned as weekend guests to a private island off the coast of Devon. Their host, an eccentric millionaire unknown to all of them, is nowhere to be found. Review

I loved this story, like most of the book she wrote.

I was, in the beginning, a little lost with all the different characters. I struggle to know who is whom. I even made notes that I can check back if I am lost.

The way the novel is articulate is stunning, especially the explanation of the whole case. I keep coming back to the nursery rhyme to see what will occur for the next one.

Everyone is suspect in this book, and the fact that everyone is suspecting everybody doesn’t help at all.

After reading this book, you don’t want to be on an island with strangers. You never know what can happen.

Liz.
