June mood TBR

This list is a non-exhaustive list of the books I would like to read in June; some books can be added as now I can go back to the bookshop (YEAH!!).

Beach Read by Emily Henry (publisher: Berkley)

One of my most anticipated read, I can’t wait to read it! The story is about two opposite authors who live in a beach house, for three months, situated near each other. They have writer block and decide to swap their predilection genre.

Emma by Jane Austen (publisher: Penguin Classics)

It will be the first Jane Austen book ever that I am going to read. I want to read more classics and Jane is one of the authors that comes the most, so I am going to try. Also, the book The Jane Austen Society by Natalie Jenner gave me the want to read Jane Austen’s works.

Real Men Knit by Kwana Jackson (publisher: Berkley)

I was intrigued by this book and the cover. I always love knitting shops, and the fact that it’s the starting point of this book is a great pleasure.

The Vile Village by Lemony Snicket (publisher: Audible)

I took a break in this series for half a month, but now I am ready to be back on track and continue to listen to it.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowling (publisher: Bloomsbury)

I am currently reading Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, so it’s the logical thing to do. On the one hand, I am so eager to read it, and on the other, I am not as I will be sad to have finished this series (I will welcoming a book hangover!)

Difficult Women: A History of Feminism in 11 Fights by Helen Lewis (publisher: Jonathan Cape London)

This book is a non-fiction, and I didn’t read this genre since March. It was a long time ago and too much for my liking, so I am diving back with this book.

The Vanishing Stair by Maureen Johnson (publisher: Katherine Tegen Books)

This book is the second instalment of the Truly Devious series. I can’t wait to continue the investigation and discover what happened in 1936 and why there are some aftereffects in the present.

Don’t hesitate to share the books that you want to read this month or give your thoughts about these books if you have already read them.

Liz.
