Review
For me, it’s a relatable/emotional rollercoaster/difficult to put down book.
It’s relatable as I had the same kind of experience three years ago. I went to study in London, so all the place Shane went to I know them. Also, I made a list of what I wanted to change in my life and be a new me (but didn’t have the guts to do it). Moreover, Shane makes me think of myself and how I cope with changes and people, so I connect with her quickly.
This book makes me happy, makes me laugh, cry, get worked up, frustrated me and surprised me. As I relate to Shane, I perceive what she was feeling. Also, I was so astonished by the turn this book takes at some point. I wasn’t prepared for it, but it was so well done that it wasn’t an issue.
All this reason make me want to read it in one go, and every time I took a pause, it was complicated to put it down.
Liz.
