OMG! Why I wait to read this book? I love it so much!
Firstly, I love all of the characters, even Matthias, and especially the stories that shape them to become who they are now. The way the author includes their past in the novel is well arranged, and it doesn’t break the story.
I like how you have the point of view of all the characters it immersed you so much more in the story; it helps to make them complementary. I also like the fact that you don’t know what to expect.
They included, at the end of the book, some artwork of the team, which is excellent. You don’t have a big cliffhanger at the end, but it ultimately gives you the desire to read the second and last book of the duology.
I can’t wait to read the Crooked Kingdom.
Liz.
